UKSCF takes up official residence at the Medical Research Council
Press Release, 10 January 2005The UK Stem Cell Foundation is now based within the Medical Research Council buildings at 20 Park Crescent, W1B. UKSCF operates a joint Scientific Advisory Board with the MRC to ensure the quality and academic rigour of the research projects selected for funding. It is hoped that the move will serve to strengthen the working relationship between the two organisations.
Chief Executive David Macauley, said ‘This is a great move for us. Our collaboration with the MRC via the joint Scientific Advisory Board is fundamental to the success of the Foundation. Ultimately, we will be judged according to the quality of the projects which we sponsor and the results which they produce.’
