Professor John Ansell

Professor John Ansell is Professor Emeritus at the School of Molecular and Clinical Medicine, University of Edinburgh. He is Director and Co-founder of the Scottish Stem Cell Network and a member of the Roslin Institute Ethics Committee.

Professor Ansell’s previous positions at the University of Edinburgh include, Professor of Experimental Haematology; Head of Division, Oncology; Director, University of Edinburgh-Leukaemia Research Fund, John Hughes Bennett Laboratories; Deputy Director, Edinburgh University Cancer Research Centre and Deputy Director, Edinburgh University Cancer Research Centre.
